The basement of The Silent Barn has been completely transformed for the next three weekends to showcase a production called TV Show. It's a series of scenes regarding the culture of consuming TV, perfectly at home in our temple to archaic technology.

For full info, check the Theater of the Grasshopper. 
Limited seating, so reservations are recommended.

8pm (sharp!) / $10-20 (sliding scale) / ALL AGES

Opening night is tonight (THURSDAY)
but there will be performances every Thurs-Sun until February 21st.

There are other shows coming up next week, like PC Worship, and a show only meant for your pets. More info on that below.

This isn’t a show announcement.


I’m really lucky, living in Brooklyn, to have so many awesome shows open to anyone of any age, every single night, that I get to spend most of my time running a newsprint dedicated to listing them all, but many parts of the country are struggling against the corporate eclipsing of small community spaces that exist to support all ages music.

AMP is a network of spaces and community organizers dedicated to giving emerging all ages organizations the support they need to survive and inspire younger generations to keep making music and art and sharing it with one another, instead having it handed down from the top of the billboard charts.

They’re currently competing for a grant of $50,000 to be used towards legal and organizational support for all ages spaces all over the country, and you can help by following the two links below and voting for them EVERY DAY, starting February 1st through the end of the month.
