The air is freezing and snow’s starting to fall… the season to drink and be merry is quickly gaining on us.

Come into Bubby’s Lounge this Thursday and let Majestic K. Funk L.P. Funk warm you up, back-to-back, between the twinkling bridges and the twilight Manhattan skyline. There’ll be pie, guest singers, and good music all evening long up in Mezzanine and you’re all invited to get out of the cold and warm up on our couches. Hot air rises, you know.

We dream of un-confiscated forties, shit-cheap liquor off a plywood bar, smoking inside, bands in the backyard, in the basement, in the bathtub. Out of necessity, we do shows at venues that are pretty lenient by New York standards, but in a perfect world every show would happen at home (in this city of eternal roommates).
