caUSE co-MOTION! @ The Silent Barn

caUSEcoMOTION

If you were at The Silent Barn for The Black Lips and Japanther insanity, you already know that this spot is one of the most kick-ass noise nests on the Bushwick market. And if you weren’t able to make it when we rang in the new year, don’t trust me, trust The New York Times (!!!).

THIS SATURDAY is another awesome show @ The Silent Barn, put together by The Rats Of NiMH and caUSE co-MOTION!’s label-mates, Tyvek and The Blankket. The whole thing’s gonna be one big What’s Your Rupture? label party, and missing out might be criminal (I wouldn’t want any of you whipping yourselves in shame come a frigid, lonely Sunday morning…). Check out all the nice things Pitchfork had to say about caUSE co-MOTION!.

We dream of un-confiscated forties, shit-cheap liquor off a plywood bar, smoking inside, bands in the backyard, in the basement, in the bathtub. Out of necessity, we do shows at venues that are pretty lenient by New York standards, but in a perfect world every show would happen at home (in this city of eternal roommates). To get to the nitty-gritty, if you have a space, and think music forcefully shoved inside might work for us both, drop us an email. We can use all shapes and sizes, from pretty little alleyways or back porches for an acoustic kind of good time, or an industrial-looking basement for around 100 kids to spazz the fuck out in…
