The So So Glos / Le Rug / Consider The Source / The Shirkers @ The Silent Barn

The Silent Barn is an over-sized noise nest, and we’re gonna shake the whole foundation to it’s very core come Saturday! The Shirkers vocal cords are still ragged and sore from their face-off with Lucky Cheng’s last night, and are gonna be opening the night with a howl. Then someone must’ve forgotten to lock Ray Weiss up for the weekend, because he’s somehow managed to wiggle free from the madhouse, AND he’s pulled Cameron Wisch (the drummer from The Medics) to join forces with him this Saturday and turn Le Rug into some double-drummer vortex of electronic pop insanity. The magnetic pull created by this madness has whipped The So So Glos (one sick, straight-up Brooklyn, party band) into a frenzy, and no one can really be responsible for what happens at that point…
The drinks’ll be pouring all night, in the typical DIY fashion. $2 beers, $4 mixers. Get sweaty, get sloppy; stomp, shout, and shake your ass until you can’t feel it anymore. For a $5 cover, this party’s a steal.
IMPORTANT UPDATE - As if that wasn’t enough, Consider The Source has been added at the last possible moment! They’re already playing a party earlier that night, but when they heard The Rats Of NiMH were throwing down, they told us they’d be packing their shit in the van and screeching off to Bushwick the second their set was over!
