[ INFO ]

[ TEAM ROBESPIERRE ]
“These five guys are the perfect band to ask to play when you want to turn your broken-down loft or vacant parking lot into an instant party space. Just have them plug in their guitar, bass and keys and watch them go for it. Fun noise will be made, with all members dishing out vocal jabs. Team Robespierre utilizes a whole mess of both machine and man-made beats, and you can certainly dance to their thumps. Just don’t confuse this with dance-punk. This is more like punk-dance. You will have a good time at this show.” - Ohmyrockness.com

[ NINJASONIK ]
“What happens when G.G. Allin meets the Old Dirty Bastard on a sweaty dancefloor? Something along the lines of Ninjasonik. The brain child of Reverend McFly and DJ Teenwolf, Ninjasonik mixes ferocious lyrics with hard hitting electronic beats. Their first single “Tight Pants” has become an underground anthem amongst the New York scenesters, and their follow up tracks “Holla For A Dolla” and “Internet Bitch” have also generated incredible buzz (even though they havent even been released). Their upcoming EP which will feature a slew of tracks from their outrageous live performances will be released in early 2008 and will most likely devastate the current music scene. Keep an eye out for these two. They all over the internet, b@tch.”

[ VIVIAN GIRLS ]
“Super cool lady trio Vivian Girls, who simultaneously rev up all sorts of nostalgic cravings for your riot grrrl band of the ’90s and the more melodic stylings of twee guilty pleasures like Heavenly.” - Other Music

[ SNAKES SAY HISSS! ]
“We’re pretty hot. There’s really no way around it,” says Jamie Ayers, the 20-year-old Philadelphia native looking up from his astrology homework. Ayers and Sam Skarstad, also 20, met in September 2005 and began writing and recording songs recounting young summers spent sitting around watching the real world and dancing complex coordinates to other drones. Since then they have settled into a sound that combines synth pop and graham crackers in a raw contemporary rock and roll honeycomb structure. “We like raw pollen and we like hard work, our queen is very proud”, Ayers states.” - ’space HQ

[ SHOWPAPER ]
“SHOWPAPER is a FREE bi-weekly print-only publication which aims to list and promote all ages DIY shows in the NYC and tri-state area. We try to spread the word about shows that would otherwise slip under the radar, and the all ages scene in general. Each issue also features a full color piece of art by a contemporary artist. Look for it in your local record store/gallery/café/pizza place/etc.” - ’space HQ

[ BIKES IN THE KITCHEN ]
“Bikes in the kitchen was born out of necessity. We needed to a place to dance and party when no one else was dancing or partying. It is an organization and promotion for a movement of Brooklyn-based bands, dj’s, artists, performers, and others to collaborate in a provocative and extremely atmospheric environment. Such events have hosted 1000+ people and provided mentions and columns in several prominent brooklyn publications. Also…we’re into drinking a shit load of beer, pissing on shit, breaking shit, and taking over the world.” - ’space HQ

We can help with forming big ideas, developing a working plan of action, booking talent, interacting with venues, and realizing live events. [ DJ NEVER FORGET / FINGER ON THE PULSE ]
“Our cousin Joey once told us; there are good bands, there are bad bands and there are FOTP bands. Pretty much Never Forget and I are complete suckers for awesome twee sensibility, killer keyboards, slashing strings, guy/girl vocals, a dash of horns, and a lot of fun. In short, we love party bands.” - Website HQ

We dream of un-confiscated forties, shit-cheap liquor off a plywood bar, smoking inside, bands in the backyard, in the basement, in the bathtub. Out of necessity, we do shows at venues that are pretty lenient by New York standards, but in a perfect world every show would happen at home (in this city of eternal roommates). To get to the nitty-gritty, if you have a space, and think music forcefully shoved inside might work for us both, drop us an email. We can use all shapes and sizes, from pretty little alleyways or back porches for an acoustic kind of good time, or an industrial-looking basement for around 100 kids to spazz the fuck out in…
