[...] 5/31 — Jamaica Bay Experimental Marshland Restoration Project W4th Street Subway Station, to Far Rockaway. 1pm. Free. As my friend Kevin says: this may not be in Bushwick, but Bushwickers might be there. Music on the train….all the way to Jamaica Bay! A very liberal paraphrase: The Beets will begin playing at the W 4th St stop on the platform for the Rockaway (downtown)-bound A Train. As they finish, everyone will get on the last car of the downtown A Train, and head towards Broad Channel. The So So Glos will play on the train as “we party while avoiding cops the entire way.” The Eskalators will finish up the train ride performances and….“Once arriving on Broad Channel, we will parade through this Firefighter Wonderland, and at the end of the island is the long anticipated Jamaica Bay Experimental Marshland Restoration Project, home to many species of birds and marsh wildlife.” Performances include: Radiates, Thompson, Puttin’ On The Ritz, Fiasco, Consider The Source, possible impromptu performances on the beach, and Big A little a and KNYFE HYTS. Wow. [...]
