"...imagine my utter disbelief when I stepped out of the High Street station on the A one night and was greeted by a sidewalk swarming with people. Bluegrass bands playing in the street, transsexual noise bands perched along loading docks, Japanese girls wandering around lit up like light bulbs, projectors screening naked models doing some sort of aerobic, modern-dance routine on the underside of the Manhattan bridge and more.
